Becka Shae arrived in Papua New Guinea’s Jacksons International Airport today. She had a warm welcom e from a crowd waiting for her outside the exit of the terminal. The fan crowd composed mainly of The Voice Inc., Clean Generation and The Stand. She said “This is the best welcome ever!” in a high pitched and excited voice as she was crowned with a Papua New Guinean color bilum.
Among the crown was the local media, The National, EM TV and PNG Loop. An interview was conducted after the welcome. She stated briefly why she came and what she will be doing during her stay here. She went on to explicitly mentioned she had particular interest in visiting the Salamaua Coastline of the Morobe Province. Her stay here will be for one to two weeks.
She will be here to help promote youth participation and involvement in the community. Also making not of and promoting gender equality in the nations capital. She says she is very excited to be here and she is expecting to leave the country with some life teachings.
That is all from me, until next time “HAPPY PROGRAMMING” 🙂
